Arief has more than 10 years of experience in green technology in the Malaysian landscape. Arief is currently serving as the sustainability manager for JLL Property Services Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur.

Mohd Arief Firdaus Mohd Yusof has been involved in the green tech since 2012 starting supplying solar water heaters for domestic users and eventually moving on as a green solutions provider for commercial hot water application.

In 2018, he joined the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) as a technical consultant for the Malaysian Energy Efficiency & Solar Thermal Application project, a government initiative to promote effective thermal energy usage in the industrial sector.

He is trained by the Austrian Institute for Sustainable Technologies as a thermal energy auditor & solar thermal designer and is a Registered Electrical Energy Manager (REEM) with the Malaysian Energy Commission.
