Paramit Corporation Penang

Global medical device manufacturer, Paramit, is expanding its footprint in Asia with a new facility in Penang known as the “Factory in the Forest”. We helped them realise their vision of a facility which responds to the unique aspects of the Malaysian climate with tree canopies for shading, and gardens to create a great space for their staff. Through clever design, Paramit has managed to bridge the gap between manufacturing and sustainability by incorporating water harvesting and in-slab cooling for maximum energy efficiency and electricity reduction and is setting the standard for environmentally-friendly manufacturing plants across Asia.
